My review...

Literary history is a wide world of wonder to explore and contemplate and is filled with intrigue and mystery. This story captures this essence superbly with a gripping and intelligent plot that had me hooked from page one.

The intertextuality that laced its way nearly through the narrative created layers and dimensions to add depth of meaning and anchor the story to history. Even though the plot has been given an air of artistic licence it still stands strong with a level of credibility and profound imagination. I was wrapped up in the action and was whizzed along in a ride filled with research, speculation and was a true delight.

Unlawful Things is a fascinating feast for the imagination and a true success on every level. For fans of Dan Brown this is certainly a story to dive into. I'm very much looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Thank you to Ann at Random Things Tours for letting me take part in such a fantastic tour.
